During his tenure at SUDEI, he received the 2001 Morosoli Institutional Award.
In 2001 he received the Title of "Honorary Member" from the Ibero-American Forum on the Arts for his brilliant professional and human career.
In 2011 the Lolita Rubial Foundation awarded him the "Morosoli Prize for Culture" in the Cultural Music category.
He won the First Composition Prize awarded by the Ministry of Education and Culture in the category "INSTRUMENTAL ACADEMIC MUSIC" within the 2014 National Music Awards.
He forms the "Marmara Trio", with which he has been the winner of the award granted by the MEC within the framework of the 2014 Contestable Funds, offering a tour of recitals in the departmental capitals of Uruguay.
